It Might be 4XL But I Cant Tell You How Proud I Am To Wear It !!!!!
« FOUR !!!!!! Gaz Goes Shopping.
Baby, I Was BORN To Run ! »
Manufacturers sizings mean diddly squat mate, I currently wear T shirts that say L to XXL and I fit them all fine, just like my footwear, I have footwear from a 7 to a 9 that all fit fine. Just go with what fits and sod the label.
Yeah, I totally agree mate, Its more of a XL TBH, but its been the Holy Grail since I got into last years TdF, I had a Discovery Channel Top,Threw it away, 2 years ago, saying, “thats bloody stupid I’ll NEVER fit”, it was the same size as this HTC one, IM GUTTED NOW !!!
You live and learn eh ???
You look lovely BUT you really must learn to stand differently when being photographed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you mean mate ?
Congratulations! I hope to do that myself one day!
The top looks great!
Thanks Si, Even I think it looks pretty good, its taken 2 years of brutally hard work to get here though.
I look forward to seeing you wearing one mate, good luck, its worth every bit of effort and pain
Thanks for the encouragement Gaz, I have yet to get out for a decent ride. I seem to be losing all my time either working or getting the house decorated ready for the little person arriving. Probably wasn’t the best time to start a blog!
TBH mate, is it ever the best time to start such a huge change ?
The single best bit of advice I was given was to “Make it a part of your daily life style” if I cycle to work, I have to cycle home, I cant say at the end of the day “I cant be arsed tonight” like you can with the gym etc, if I dont cycle home, I dont get home.
I hope that helps you mate and good luck
Thank you it does help, and if I ever lack willing I can just look at your site and be motivated again.
I got weighed properly for the first time in ages yesterday and will be putting the info up on my blog when I get home from work tonight. It is very scary making that public knowledge but it will help motivate I am sure!
Yup, making your weight public does that, but hey, it helped me 🙂
There’s always reasons not to do stuff, the key is finding the reason to do the stuff.
We can always find cop outs to do the right thing. I spent 10 years doing just that and look where it got me.
Like Gaz said, work out a plan so you have to get your arse moving. It will become second nature after a bit of pain. Trust me.
Cheers for that Clive mate.
Si (and im sure Clive will agree) once its routine , it very quickly becomes second nature and then enjoyable all in one, I couldn’t EVER go back now !!!!
